we are superior to all creatures on this planet but that doesn't mean we are doing any other creature favours by being here..
the smarter we get the more we have to learn.. do you see a monkey spending 12 years in school and the rest of there life working just so they can live.. everything we need to live on is right in front of us but yet we still create more and more technology to survive, witch shows that where lazy... If all humans where to die tomorrow do think the world would be better off, I do, I think humans are this planets disease

It is not that humans think they are superior to all other beings on this planet. They really are. This is because of how the brain is constructed. It has nothing to do with size or color or what country they are from or even if they live in water or on land or in the air. No matter if you were created by one of the many many Gods or if you evolved like other people did. It is how the human brain is wired that makes humans smarter and thus superior. There are many species, human, animal, fish, insect and more. Humans are the top of the food chain, but you try to tell that to a tiger if you don't have a gun to back you up.
Dogs could have ended up on the top of the food chain because they run in packs and large groups with a controller can over power a lager predictor.
If people had not congregated / united as one and with a leader to lead them, maybe they would have all been eaten by now. But over time we will see just how smart we really are. We can still blow ourselves up. Or many other ways of killing ourselves out, and may be everything else on this planet. If I were a bird I would not want the human race being the caretaker of my world.
Scary huh.

Well some animals just may think they are superior to us... never know. But I think the common misjudgment that humans are the higher intelligence is what gets most people. We simply have the ability to communicate and govern (lack thereof sometimes) ourselves more effective than other species. There lives seem meaningless because they don't build houses or elect presidents in the way we see it should be done. They may very well do these things, but since we cannot communicate with them, and rather trap them or harm them, we think we're superior. Sucks for them.
And to reply to tlshi's answer, we are on the food chain to carnivores (ever heard of shark and crocodile attacks 3 fatalities last week alone in Florida) sorry for the disappointment.

We're probably the only creatures capable of thinking that in the first place. It is possible that another animal thinks it's superior but we are not smart enough to know that.

Because in the BIBLE, God said in Genesis, "And MAN shall have dominion over all the animals" In case you don't know dominion means the same as dominance, or superiority.

I would say that we have superior intellect when compared to animals but is the importance of our lives superior to the importance of theirs?

I would love to know that!!! I hate it when people say that animals were put on earth for the use of people. I hate hunting, I hate cruelty, I hate how people whip horses or kick them hard, I hate how in bullfights they actually kill the bull and drag him out of the ring. What makes these people so selfish to torture and hurt animals for their entertainment. It isn't right.
