I was on a Seinfeld trivia site, and there was a question about Elaine having an operation for an ulcer. She says something about hallucinating over duck meat. I have NEVER seen this episode, and I have almost all of them I thought.

Yeah. I forgot about what the operation was; I just remembered that she's fasting for a day (two?) before the operation, so she's getting progressively hungrier, eventually sitting in a hall with Jerry and apparently hallucinating from hunger. It's the one where Jerry's neighbor is in a coma, and the guy's foreign girlfriend is hitting on Jerry, which Newman eventually tells the coma guy. George wants to go on a vacation, but the psychic starts to warn him off of it, then she throws them out when Elaine (hungry, not yet crazy) complains about the woman smoking while pregnant.
I forget useful stuff and remember this. Great.

I remember it sort of. Elaine had to fast for some medical test, and she was freaking out because she was so hungry. The other part was that Jerry was making out with this woman who lived down the hall who's boyfriend was in a coma. Newman threatened to tell on Jerry when the guy woke up and Jerry bribed him with a Drakes coffee cake. But then Elaine stole the cake so she had to start starving all over again.

This might be the episode where she had to fast for a couple days before her operation and she kinda lost her mind because she was so hungry. She saw someone with a Drake's coffee cake and she ate it. So she fasted for nothing because she couldn't have the surgery after she ate the coffee cake.

I haven't heard of that either, so I asked my husband who remembers every TV episode ever made (but can't remember how to get to the grocery store) He doesn't know either. Maybe it was only released in a special set?????
