They really are messing with you unless you meet one of the following criteria. 1. Did that scratch come in contact with any body fluids from your partner? 2. Is your partner HIV+ or does your partner have reason to suspect that he/she might be HIV+?
If you said no to both questions then chances are very slim. It is still a good idea to get tested now and get tested every six months especially since you are sexually active. AIDS starts as HIV long before it ever becomes full blown AIDS. Keep in mind that it takes at least 6 months to develop and can take up to 12 years to ever show signs. Get tested and get on with your life. Best of Luck.

My friend, they are just messing with you. You may want to re-think the friendships if they joke about something like this.
AIDS is a very serious disease caused by the HIV Virus. It can be transmitted through sexual contact as well as shared needles and accidental needles punctures with used needles / sharps.
Scratches on your nose and face are not signs or symptoms of the HIV Virus. They could, however be signs of other skin conditions such as sporiasis (excessive dry skin) or skin cancer. If you know where the scratches came from, such as a fall or from a cat, clean them and don't worry about them. If they appeared out of 'nowhere', I suggest getting a professional opinion from a doctor.
HIV or AIDS is nothing to joke about, EVER! Noone is immune to this disease. It does not discriminate from age, race (african, irish, italian, american, etc), religion or sexual orientation (homosexual, hetersexual, etc). When someone is affected with HIV, their life is forever changed, and everyone around them that they love is also affected emotionally and possibly financially.
Don't worry about those scratches hun, but you may want to worry about your friends sincerity and integrity.
Best of luck
Laura

What does a scratch have to do with getting HIV or AIDS???? You can only get AIDS or HIV by mixing bodily fluids with another person that is infected. So tell your "friends" that they are NOT very knowledgeable about the disease.

Aids is a blood born disease. If you were having sex with someone who is infected there is a good chance you may develop the disease. Talk to your doctor if you are that scared.

Messing with you. It takes AIDS years to actually show up and start wreaking havoc on your body. If you are worried go take an HIV test and do so yearly, it can stay dormant for years.

Yes.
I think you're meaning to say that your scratch did come in contact with some of your sexual partner's bodily fluids.
Then the answer is yes - you should take precautions and get tested.
Also, please be more careful in the future. Nobody wants you to get sick.

If you need to ask this question, you are way too young and immature to be having sex to begin with.
