My 11 week old seems to be sleeping more the past two days. I have read that if they are in a growth spurt they sleep more. Should I be concerned?

If everything else seems okay, then don't worry. Is the baby having the same number of wet and dirty diapers? They you don't have to worry that she/he is not eating enough. That's the main risk if baby is sleeping "too much". And if her/his behavior is weird in other ways (more crying, less crying, floppy body, etc.) or there are other physical symptoms (fever, for example), then you should contact your doctor.

No, i don't think you should be concerned. Babies that young sleep like crazy! It really is amazing how much they sleep. And yes, it is true that babies will sleep longer during a growth spurt. But never be afraid to call your doctor for any reason, even just to be sure of something - that is what they get paid for! There is NO QUESTION TOO DUMB, especially for a new mom. (mine is 9 mo - and I still do have tons of questions!!)

Congratulations!!!!!!!!

No. Dont worry. Babys do sleep alot. Naps will even be around when they are 5 years old. But for now, at 11 weeks, they mainly eat, play just a little, and sleep. Grab a nap yourself. You probably need it too.
But I know the routine. When they sleep you try to do everything around the house you couldn't do when they were awake. I thought I would never sleep again but it does get better. And arent they sweet when they are sleeping?

I wouldn't be, infants change sleep patterns often. Usually changing with feedings and also with growth. As babies get older the start eating more at each feeding, it satisfying them for longer periods. My first daughter slept throught the night right off the bat. You just have to make sure that your infant is diapers are needing changed at least 6-8 times a day and enjoy the extra sleep.

Yeah he/she's still really young, and their sleeping habits will change, she might be trying to get into a routine around that age....don't worry unless she seems incoherent and like a vegetable.
