I am taking provera to start my cycle. Does everyone get the moodyness and how can I control it?

provera is different than depo-provera. anyhow, we usually suggest plenty of rest, water and exercise. It helps you produce enough natural endorphins, serotonin, melatonin! those things all keep you well balanced!

Unfortunately it is not limited to Depo Provera. It can happen with any birth control pill because it is changing a chemical ba;lance in your body.. How long have you been on it? Some of the less severe side affects can go away after your body becomes adjusted to it. If this symptom persists, talk to your doctor about having it changed to another perscription. Or talk to your pharmacist. He can tell you a lot more about the drugs than your doctor can. He can make some reccommendations and work with your doctor about getting a med that is better for you.
