If she says no and doesn't return your feelings then you just have to back off, if you don't you will lose her as a friend as well.

Since your best friend doesn't feel the same way about you, you need to move on. You can't make someone fall in love with you if they just don't feel that way about you. She loves you but only as a FRIEND, not anything more. Move on and find someone else who will love you.

You could really see if it was a big no, because if it wasn't she's still thinking about it. Try to be friends first then see if anything happens from there. Maybe she really might have feelings for you, but is afraid for your friendship. That it might get ruin if it doesn't work out between you two. Just be patience. Good luck!
