Okay to tune the guitar...you go to the biggest E string press down on the fifth fret and tune A to the sound of E. Then go to the fifth fret on A and do the same thing with D. Go to the fourth on D and tune it to B and then go to the fifth on B and tune it to the smallest E. I hope I made that simple if not...

Yes. Any cheap tuner will do BUT you need to get it tuned to standard FIRST. If you try and tune it without doing that first you are probably going to break a string. To tune to standard, tume to a piano. Better yet, go to a music store and they will probably tume in on the spot for you for free.

buy a tuner... theyre not that expensive... 20 bucks...
