I think it's gay because a.) everyone turns it into a popularity contest and puts random people on their friends list, often weirding out the people on the recieving end; and b.) people say they use it to talk to their friends and check out new music.
Clever alternatives that don't involve corporate assholes and getting caught when illegally downloading things: fueledbyramen and a messenger service. Or, even better, your TELEPHONE. It's just a stupid corporation who became the government's bitches and kids are addicted to winning at.

Well, that's rather a broad statement Peter. Many feel that Myspace is not GAY, as you so eloquently put it. Have you not heard the phrase "To each his own?" I believe that would apply here. Many people find Myspace a good way to vent their feelings and make new friends, get advice, share photos and stories or just to discuss issues that are important to them. Just because you don't care for it, doesn't make it Gay, if you don't mind my saying so. I would rather have the local depressed high school student or adult vent their feelings there, than to walk in and start shooting people at random in private or in public. Ease up on them a bit, Hon. One man's trash is another man's treasure, if you'll pardon the cliche.

Lol. Myspace is pretty gay. But addicting. I didn't like it at first but then I made friends who go to my school that I didn't know existed. So its a good way to expand your friends. Just don't put up naked pics and Have like 10,000 friends and its fun.

If you dont have one maybe you shouldnt talk.
If so, maybe you dont communicate well on there.
For being none who likes myspace and has fun with myspace, i can tell you myspace is fun, if you know how to communicate on it.

Because everyone is so obsessed with it.
All the "cool" kids use it as a way to get attention, and the rest of the world think it's a pedophyle portal when in reality, the whole internet is.

Too many people have "friends" on their profile they don't even know or talk to, and too many wannabe's trying to make a name for themselves; and only add people to invite them to their events. Just add your real friends, and ignor myspace whores, and lame garage bands' request.
