What does it mean when u get Error Directory Not Found C:\Windows\?asks?

It means the list directory is either missing or corrupted so that Windows can not read it. I am assuming that it is keeping you from booting the PC. Your best option at this point is to reinstall Windows from your original PC. But do not format the hard drive. Select the option to leave the drive as it is. Such reinstall Windows without removing everything off the hard drive.
