That is my #1 pet peeve. They either turn off on the next road or you end up following them several miles down the road while they poke along. DRIVES ME CRAZY. And to make matters MORE frustrating is half the time there is nobody behind me, so why couldn't they just wait until I drove by and THEN pull out.

I think that part of the reason people do this is because we live in a fast paced world where everyone is always rushing. Another reason is that there are a lot of rude people out there that does not respect their fellow drivers. When I am in a hurry, and someone does this to me the answers that I am giving now are a lot nicer than what I am saying to myself.LOL

Because everyone is the most rushed, and the latest, and the most important person on the planet, and who has time to worry about your little feelings?? People are *ssholes, that's my mantra that I repeat to myself while driving or even riding in the car.
