It depends on how new the truck is. Starting involves the starter, the solenoid, the coil, the ignition switch, good contacts with the battery. The newer models can have the solenoid and possibly the coil already attached to the starter. Another option may be to check the alternater. If the alternater is bad; it could drain energy at start. Starting requires alot of amps. If there is not enough cranking amps in the battery, there may also be a problem.

IF THE TRUCK IS A FORD FOLLOW THE POS. WIRE IT WILL LEAD YOU TO A SOLENOID CHANGE IT. IF NOT A FORD THERE IS A FUSE UNDER THE HOOD IT SHOULD BE AROUND 30A. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SEE IN THE TOP OF IT. IF THE COPPER IS BURNT OR BROKE CHANGE IT. BOTH SOL. SHOULD COST YOU ABOUT $15.00.

Could be a number of things: crank, alternator, computer, something with the fuel line, timing belt, fuel pump, other electrical problems.

if its a ford, it is possible that the fuel pump safety switch has "tripped". look in your car manual for its location. it is sometimes mounted in the side kick panel ( near your left foot if you are behind the wheel ).
