Multiply celcius by 9/5 and add 32, to get Fahrenheit so 71.6 degrees.

To get within a couple of degrees... double the celcius temp and add 30 degrees. For example... 22C x 2 = 44 plus 30 = 74F

So, if it's -10 you double it so it would be -20 and add 30 so the temp in F would be 10F..

If it's -15C... double it which is -30, and add 30 so it would be roughly 0F... it's not 100% accurate but you usually get within about 2 - 4 degrees...

The formulas presented here are generally correct, but if you don't have the time or patience to do it and you are in front of a web browser go to http://www.google.com and type:

convert 22 celsius to fahrenheit

in the search box and it will tell you. In fact both Google and Yahoo's search engine box will convert almost any measurement to another unit if you specify it in that way.

For example all the following work:

convert 15.5 feet to meters

convert 2 gallons to liters

that way you don't have to remember the conversions. :-)

hope this helps. (remember though, it is always best to know HOW something is done before you let a computer do it for you)

You multiply 22 by 9/5, which gives you 35.333 + 32= 67.333

F = (9/5)C + 32
F = 198/5 + 32
F = 39.6 + 32
F = 71.6
