It depends on the boy's age and personality. If the boy is in middle school or older, it's probably time to have a talk. However, many young boys play with dolls simply to be different. This spirit of non-conformity could actually be a great asset when the child is confronted with peer pressure. It is your job to simply nuture it in the right places and put your foot down if it goes too far.

Yes it is! Boys play with dolls all the time..They just call them Action Figures. Same Difference!

There's probably nothing wrong with it - if the boy is pretending to take care of babies, it's kind of nice. You should even go so far as to reprimand him if he starts roughing the dolls up (which he might do when he feels people are watching him play with dolls).
If he's just talking to the dolls like they're friends, that's probably OK, too, but make sure he's able to talk comfortably with real people, too.
...and if he's just wrestling with them or staging shoot-outs, um, no worries.

Yes it is OK for boys to play with dolls. It shows they will be great dads someday. Why is it girls can play with trucks and boys can't play with dolls

Well it is okay, but if a boy is interested in playing doll with a sister or something else.
Because when they grow up have daughters, tough luck.
You already know how to play dolls,too.

I agree with KA good practice for being a dad my uncle used to play with dolls and he's a great dad I let my son play with dolls and he looks very sweet when he holds them he's only 1 though so he looks sweet anyways.

Having many years of observing children interact in play, it's amazing to see both, boys and girls, changing diapers, feeding, changing clothes, and verbally interacting with dolls during playtime. Playing with dolls will not make a person gay, as some may think. It actually prepares both male and females to interact with their children in later years.
Growing up, I had a range of different toys and my favorites were my tool set, puzzles, and my bag of green army men, especially the one lying down with the flag in his hand. ;-) Homeboy was determined.

yes whats wrong with it i mean if a girl can play with boy toys and not be riddiculed why can't a boy play with dolls i guess people are hypocrytes in there own way
