I just have to add a few names to that list.
Hulk Hogan- He was not the greatest wrestler in the world, ok he downright stunk at times but I don't think anyone can argue that he wasn't the most important wrestler in the history of the business.
Andre The Giant- Before Hulk Hogan came along, he was the international Superstar, the biggest draw in Professional Wrestling. Andre did alot to bring about the immense popularity of Hulkamania.
Antonio Inoki- To Japanese Wrestling what Hogan was to Amerian Wrestling, except he was a far better wrestler.
