Lupin, he actually taught Harry things that were necessary for him to know to defend himself. The fact that he was also the only one truly interested in Harry's well-being helps.

My favorite was Lupin because he was honest, and a good, likeable teacher.
Quirrel was strange and Voldemort was living on his head.
Lockhart cared about nothing but himself.
Moody wasn't actually Moody.
Umbridge was a witch.
And Snape killed someone very important (don;t want to give it away to anyone who hasn't read it.)

Well its not Alastor Moody because it was not Alastor Moddy teaching it was Barty Crouch jr so......... it would have to be Snape or Lupin

Lupin.I like him because apart from this fact that he is the only non villian yet he also outstood everyone in teaching.He used to teach in such a friendly manner and explained soo well that even we (muggles) could easily understand and feel that we're a part of his class.
