i dont wanna pay for itunes so how can i get them for free and not have to pay for a monlthy subscription...and not pay a cent for the song...i want them for free and legally...i've tried limeware but my comp doesnt approve of it cause it says its spyware

LimeWire IS NOT spyware. However, LimeWire is also not exactly legal. If you are looking for a truely legal AND free service, I'm afraid you are not going to find it. As someone said iTunes is free but the songs are not. Legal and free does not exist.

There is no monthly subscription for iTunes. You pay by the song.

It doesn't cost you anything to load CDs of music you already own into iTunes, or to listen to any of the free stations you can access through it. Short of turning on your radio, there aren't many ways to get music for free *and* legally.

Eh? ITunes is free software. Purchasing and downloading music isnt free.
