i havent played in a long time and its really really fast pitch and its in 5 days

I've been hit...used to play college ball. I was hit when I was at bat (not in field) and it's okay...it hurts, don't get me wrong, but you'll get over it. Might leave small bruise....You should have fun! Good luck!

Get hit all the time. I am the umpire! Sometimes it misses all the protective gear. Don't be fooled, there ain't nothing soft about a "soft"ball! You won't get hit much, if any, but you will live through it.
Use a facegaurd on the batting helmet, make good friends with your glove, and pay attention!
It is a fun game, enjoy it.

been playing since i was 8. ive been hit once, and since then my reflex skills are spectacular, haha!
