You have three other quarterbacks and only one other wide receiver. I like Hasselback as a weekly points producer over a possible down year and injury? for S. Smith.
Tough decision but I would keep Hasselback and see if any other receivers become available/trade for another player on your roster (quarteback since you are heavy there). Good Luck this year!

Not really a great trade. You need Steve Smith because you are not very deep at the WR position versus the fact that you are fairly deep at the QB position. Hassleback is a great weekly points generator but never has stellar games and sometimes all you need is one stellar game from Vick or Favre and you gain 30 points from them. Careful with 2 for 1 trades because neither guy is good enough to equal the worth of Steve Smith. So essentially you are giving up a player, who has the potential to be great, for 2 players that are only okay. And if all else fails you have decent running backs and a great tight end. You can gain your points from elsewhere if Steve Smith doesn't come through. This is a tought question because the season has yet to start and even camps are not yet in session. Decline the trade for now but leave talks open with the other manager for possible beginning of season trades.

I would first like to comment on the first answer by sayin r u serious? Steve Smith was been a pro bowl caliber receiver 3 years ago not jus last year. His broken leg in 2004 didnt allow him to succeed that year but with his talent(did u actually see him play last year?) Steve Smith will continue being one of the top receivers in da league. That being said u have 3 qbs, in fantasy qbs arent really that special yes dey can put up alot of points but diffrence among them isnt that much. Ne qb can possibly 20 tds along with +3000 yds. Fantasy wise, the diffrence in points between hassleback an ur qbs wont b much diffrent(either of them can have a better season) but u know bryant wont have a better year dan smith, not many receivers will. Keep smith his big games at wide receiver cant b replaced wit bryant.

You have the top two receivers in the game...Don't sell the top guy for 2 average point scorers. Unless your league deducts points for interceptions, Favre is your guy at QB, no need for a trade here. Hes an automatic 23-25 tds a year, while Vick is about 14-16 with 3 rushing tds. I would keep the team where its at unless they start bringing better players to the table, like a solid RB...which is what your team needs.

I would definitely accept the trade! I'm not a big Michael Vick fan and view Hassleback as a step up! You have some great receivers in Horn and Johnson. Bryant could be an adequate third receiver.

You're taking a real risk with Vick coming back to form, especially with Brees and Favre as your backup. I think Hasselbeck is the real deal, and WRs are deeper overall league-wide. May not be a bad deal overall, but you really need to shore up your RBs, that is by far the position you absolutely have to be strong in to compete week in week out.

Ummm ... try to get another trade involving a halfway decent running back. Having both RBs for New Orleans active simultaneously is not necessarily a good idea ... and Benson has not shown himself to be extremely impressive

Grab a solid RB and ask for Hasselbeck again (maybe look at his or her backup RB). Antonio Bryant added in this trade does not help in your cause to improve your team's chances to winning the entire season.

I agree with Luigi. the first guy (bivdog) must have just started watching football last year to think Steve Smith might be a one year wonder....lol!

to answer your question, keep smith. you already got brees and farve who should put up similar #s to hasselbeck.

btw...what are you going to during the saints bye week? lol...you should maybe try to trade brees/horn for another RB that doesn't have the same bye week as the saints. they have the most value so you might be able to get a solid RB in return.

No, Steve Smith is the best reciever for fantasy football, and with CJ, and Joe Horn, you'll have 3 amazing recievers. I would start Brees over Vick, and Farve. If Vick gets hot, you can put him in. And Farve, just keep him on your bench so no one else can get him.

I say no-Steve Smith is and will be to valuable in the future. Vick is not bad and has very good fantasy potential. Bryant is not worth it considering his team (49ers) and Hasselback will have to come down to earth sometime. Whoever is attempting to trade you is trying to capitalize off of the Hasselback getting to the Superbowl.

I don't think so. In my opinion, whoever gets the best player in the deal, get's the best deal. 2 For 1 Trades usually benefit the person receiving one in a shallow league (12 and under). They open up a roster spot, which in turn allows them to pickup someone who gets hot early in the season.

Final Verdict: Absolutely Not.
