Yes. We may not think so but the U.S. government isn't full of ignorant fools. There are good reasons that we are there.

No, and there are several reasons why. First, before we attacked Iraq it was not a haven for terrorists (Saddam hated them, they hated him), now it is. Second, the only thing we have taught anyone through doing this is that we will only attack you if you do not have weapons of mass destruction (ahem, Iran, North Korea). Third, it is costing this country billions of dollars that will be forced on a generation that can't even contribute to the decisions being made right now. Last, it is deeply dividing this country (much through the help of conservative politicians) into pro-Iraq war or pro-al Qaeda (which is a false choice). We need to get out of this war ASAP. That doesnt mean 127,000 people out of the country tommorrow, but it also doesnt mean "stay the course" or "until the Iraqis stand up".

I'd say we're in the middle of writing that history book. It certainly depends on the outcome and I, for one, sincerely hope our efforts there result in something good. So far, everything has been questionable and our country is at extreme odds about the issue. Whether it's helping the U.S. or not is debatable, but I do like to think that perhaps we are helping improve the quality of life for those people there. Time will tell. However, if we pull it out now, it will have been for nothing.

The war in Iraq can be good for the benefit of the American nation, Why? because since Osama Bin Ladin invaded our territory killing a lot of innocent people who's to say he would not do it again if the United States withdraws our troops from that country.

No!! Is it doing us any good now???? No!!
Is it doing us any good for the future??? No!!
Weve created more enemies from that region and sparked more terrorists and insurgents than there were before!! By us invading Iraq ( the wrong Country to invade to begin with ) we are giving the terrorists, and insurgents more ability to recruit others by using the reason of " we invaded Iraq with no just cause, see they can't be trusted or they will invade your country, or elsewhere " .....and apparently it has worked with the numerous attacks that continuely happen day to day.
Not to mention even our allies look down on us!!!

Considering it's made the US broke (not just a little bit, either, over 300 trillion dollars in debt), I don't think so. In fact, I think it's going to be hard for any person, who follows after Bush (Ie, the next president), to repair the damage that Bush, and his war, has caused.

no. and i'll tell you why. because they had no powers even compairable to ours. their people (the freedom fighters of their nation) are working to kill as many of our forces as possible because they know they are overwhelmed. we, the people of the United States of America, would fight for our freedom and pick up our arms if an invading force came into OUR homeland. in the long run, it only helps the elite not us, the common wealth.
too bad, because i am an USA patriot and this worldwide imposing patriot act is destroying the fabric of our civil liberties of not just We The People but people worldwide.

Well, I despise war but no one has bombed our country and killed thousands of innocent people lately (in the U.S.A.) so we must have put the scare into them. As soon as we back off it will probably happen again though.

Only if you think that creating thousands of more terrorists that will be around for many years to come is a good thing.
