If God was so worried about gays why is it not even mentioned in the 10 commandments (thou shalt not be gay!LOL) I think it's so interesting that people selectively choose what they will follow in the bible. Do you know the according to the Bible you are going to hell if you...
fruit from a tree less than five years old. [Lev. 19:23]
cross-breed animals. [Lev. 19:19]
grow two different plants in your garden. [Lev. 19:19]

Now how many of you so called Christians are still going to heaven?

I would like to ask you something , Where in the Bible does Jesus say anything about homosexuals ? You people are always throwing scripture around and telling gay men an women that they are living outside the will of God , but you can never find an thing that Jesus actually said about Homosexuality . You know why , Its not there . Jesus was sent to earth to establish a new covenant with the Jews and all things under the old law passed away , So do not quote the old testament to me . Jesus established the laws according to the new covenant while he was on this earth and said that all the old laws shall pass away . When the Jewish nation rejected him God extended the covenant to the Gentiles as well . Jesus never said in any of his teachings anything about homosexuality . You also know that God has warned all Christan's about Judging others unless you want to be judge in the same way when you stand before him . You are not given that right nor do you know who is saved and who isn't . You also do not know what is in the hearts of other men only God knows what is in the hearts of man .

I don't believe that I am going to Heaven.

I would rather do what I feel is right than bow down to someone else's morals. If Heaven does exist, but it excludes certain groups, then I don't want to go there.

And your interpretation of the whole forgiveness thing is exactly that - an interpretation - not all Christians believe that. I was raised presbyterian (but am now atheist) and we were taught in Sunday School that the whole point of Jesus being martyred was so that all human's would have their sins forgiven, whether they ask for it or not.

As for your take on marriage... marriage occurs in almost every documented culture, regardless of whether the people believe in the Christian God. I believe that gay marriage should be legalised as it is a formal recognition of love and basic human rights, whether it is done in a church, or as a civil service.

Let me ask you these questions...If a parent can accept and love a child for whatever you may think is wrong with the child, why would God not love that child the same? Would that make God less than a men because men is capable of loving no matter what? Would God send to "hell" those who love those who you say God condemns? Think about it. Furthermore, there is no hell and no heaven just us living to the best of our ability in this earth. Maybe if you learned to open your mind and stop using your God as an excuse to what your parents taught you. Break free and love everyone. You will find out how life is more enjoyable and rewarding that way.

Thank you for paying attention.

Because for starters God don't make no mistakes. He made me the way I am, helped we struggle with who I am and now he accepts me for who I am. Being gay is not a choice anyone can make, it's predetermined and cannot be helped.
How can I ask for God's consent in marriage? People who don't even believe in God get married all the time. Do they stop to ask his permission before they do it?
It isn't a sin to love-gay, straight, or otherwise instructed. God will bless my marriage as he has blessed me in all that I've done in my life.
For some people who say being gay is a sin, let me ask them this-do they eat pork? How about shellfish? How many out there listen to rap music?
Look, there are a million to one different religions in the world and they're all going to tell you something different. Apparently, yours believes it's a sin to be gay and my wanting to marry another woman is an abomination. Mine says the exact opposite. So how do we decide who's right and who's wrong?
I don't think that I can live any particular way, I can only live the way God intended me to live, and I started by not denying what he made me, and by not judging anyone who feels differently that I do.

If being gay was a sin, then what do you think what you're doing is?? I was saved 5 years ago. I believe in god and Jesus. I go to church. I pray. God loves me for who I am, not the choices I make. You have to remember, that god made me, and everyone else, the way we are today. If you don't belive this, then you have to start believing in god before you ask these kind of questions.

I know I'm not going to heaven but neither are you and neither is the person right next to you or you self righteous president and the list goes on and on... You see when we die... that it... Dead not street of gold or chocolate or whatever the hell the streets are to be paved you see religion was created to keep people in line. You know how it goes don't to that because you be going to hell... That and it makes us fearfull of death... Unless heaven can be proven and don't start your sh1t that the bible says it... all I know is that the bible was written and translate over and over again and do we really know these prophet. So if you can't prove it shut the hell up. All I know is that all your religious ceremonies and holidays come from Pagan religions (Example Day of the dead in Mexico Catholics celebrate it but so did the AZTECS long before the Catholics arrived) Christmas (Pagan) Easter (Pagan).

So sorry to tell you when you die all that happens is that you get placed in a box and you rot. That's it!

I don't. If this world was indeed created, then its creator is not deserving of praise, and I'd rather not spend eternity with he/she/it.

As for marriage, I'm not asking for a religious blessing. I'm asking for equal treatment in the eyes of secular law. The same social and financial rights, protections, and obligations. Whether religious communities ever decide to sanction gay marriage is irrelevant to the debate.

On a completely different note: do you realize the details section of your question has no punctuation? Do not fear the period or the comma. They cannot hurt you.

Well, there's a little saying... "Will God judge me for loving, or you for hating?"
I think that people need to stop worrying about the Bible and that kind of stuff. Live life honestly and how you want. Nobody can say who will go to Heaven, and who will go to Hell. Some poeple don't even believe in that.

I wanted to add that I see people saying Christiand a judgmental and things like that. Well, You're just labeling them. You can't say that all Christians are hypocritical and things like that, just like people can't say anything about all lesbians, or all of one racial/ethnic group. You know what I'm saying?
