I think so, but people can't help sexual thoughts. Especially men. And it's kinda hard sometimes whether or not they're in relationships of their own. But if they stand by each other, it could be good.

Initally, yes. In the long run no. The more time you spend with a person the more you like them. No matter how many times you or the other person says that you are just friends, there's always gonna be tension. Soon you will find someone that you will want to date and the other will get jealous or vice versa. So unless you are related it usually doesnt work.

well i have alot of guy friends... but most of them like me but there isnt any sexual tension so i guess... yes

Definitely, my roommate and I are tight and we are of the opposite sex. We're both dating people (neither of us gay) and we live together just fine. It is definitely possible
