I'm not sure what he's doing now, but according to "Don Zimmer, 100 Things You Never Knew" (Oxford Press 1990). He gave his name to the walking aid, commonly know as a Zimmer Frame. Curious but true...

As for everyone saying the Yankees suck , you know that gets a little old
I am a Red Sox fan and have been since 1967 when it was the Impossible Dream year with Yaz , Longborg, Reggie Smith, Rico and etc.
It isnt the Yankees we have to worry about but the Blue Jays

I heard he tried to rush the pitcher in the 5th annual Incontinent Old Guys Softball League Championships after a brush back pitch. It took him 7 minutes to reach the pitcher, and the game was over by the time he got there, and he was tired and he took a nap on the mound. No one ever saw him again after that.
