Looks are the first thing people see. We know what we see. Looks matter because better-looking people get treated better. There are studies that show that good-looking people are treated better than the others. It is horrible, but in today's society, we are superficial beings. The lighter the skin color, the less they work out in the sun. The darker one is, the more they work, showing that they are laborers.

Appearances and the color of one's skin are paramount to shallow people. They do NOT believe that what is on the inside of a person makes the person.

Everybody has preferences in almost everything. I'm sure that you often prefer one dress to another. Or one kind of pie instead of another.
Some like slim, some heavier, some like blond, some dark. Some like short, some tall.
So you see, you shouldn't say PEOPLE, you should say SOME PEOPLE.

for the most part we are social being and tend to want to be around those who look like us..thus with that you have a value system based upon looks and not fact..idaes based upon looks and color of skin is based up a subjective view of humans and not based upon fact..and even more of it is based on generalities and not hardcore facts to support things like being...a ageist..racist..sexist

Those type of people are ignorant and shallow. Ignore them. If anything feel bad that they don't know any better.
