Get used to it and learn how to work for jerks. Be the bigger person and don't quit whenever it gets tough. No matter where you go, there will always be at least one jerk.

For me, I would find another job first then quit your current job. 1) It makes you feel a lot better quitting knowing you have a job elsewhere; 2) You're probally gonna be more discriminating finding your next job, so you don't just pick the first offer you get; 3) Some employers might offer you more to lure you away from your current job; and 4) You can always throw it in your current boss's face that you quit and you had no trouble finding another job....

Even if you are so much fed up with your boss, I think it would be a good idea to find another job before quitting for financial securities.

I dont think it is quitting so easily, it is just a matter of how you are being treated in an working environment. Based on what your saying,of course, you would not want to stay in such bad conditions.

Best luck to you!!

Life is way to short to deal with crap from your boss. What you have to ask yourself is: are you happy in your job? Do you family members who are dependent on you? Do you want to stay where you are and hope things get better? If you answered no to all these, start checking the classifieds.

You should not quit your job that you have until you have another. Many people who are not good with other people won't even be bothered by you quitting so you would only be hurting yourself and your co-workers. If he is so bad maybe his boss will fire him.

Long story even shorter, if you don't want your boss to be an ahole, stop doing things that causes him/her to be an ahole.

If you like your job, keep it, otherwise leave it. If you like your job, practice not letting it affect you.
