Is it because I love to see people stumble over their responses because of their outrage, or just that I've wasted their time?

It's because the answers vary so much, and some are really stupid.

You are delving into unknown and/or unproven ground!

There is so much theory in play, add liquor and weeeeee!
Religion is so many different beliefs.
polictical views vary greatly also, so many people will argue over what "this one" would have done or over what was done. There is no viable comparison because "this one" wasn't in charge to do it or whatever it is that was done, the other options were not.

Somewhat like evelution theory, lot of speculation with not as much solid proof.

Hahaha. I hate politics. It's boring stuff. I can't say anything about religion. I'm a part of one, though! Yes, it is fun to read the responses, like when I get mad about people saying crap about Good Charlotte.

People who fight for their beliefs recklessly reveal the monster inside them because of their rage. If they spot something offensive that is against their beliefs and they react hastily, then you know what gets on his nerves.

Yes, it is fun but be sure not to reveal your contact details or they will endlessly and passionately preach you through mails. it happened to me, but I replied with something that can slap them and they're all gone.
