I would let the DJ play for a while first, to get the crowd warmed up; then let the band play, with the DJ playing between sets. Then the DJ could finish the night when the band wants to stop playing and kick back, or go home to their wives, whicheva, lol.

Have the dj play before the band begins, in between sets and then when the band is finished playing.

make sure their playlists don't clash and that they're not overlapping music choices...i would start with the dj....then the live band and have the dj come back when the band is taking a set break

Band should go first..they take up more space...While the DJ is playing, the band usually goes outside to cool off.

I think the band should go first because they won't work as late as the DJ

TRUST ME ON THIS---THE DJ ALWAYS GOES ON FIRST---THE WARM UP DUDE AND WHILE HE DOES HIS THING HE PUMPS UP THE "GUYS COMIN UP" EVEN INTROS THEM WHEN ITS TIME----THEN IF THE BAND TAKES A BREAK--THEY DEFER TO THE DJ ECT ECT---WORKS LIKE CLOCKWORK
