my 7 year old daughter likes to talk about her intrests to anyone who will listen, she likes to color, do crafts, play at the park, go to the movies, go out to eat, play "clubhouse" all you need is normal furniture, 1 or more bed sheets, and maybe a ponytail holder or two, push chairs next to the couch or table ect... sheets make roof and walls, and ponytail holders or safety pins to secure the sheet. then grab a great book, and sit in there and read, or make up mild ghost stories, encourage her to do the same, or just get to know her, ask her questions like, "what grade are you in in school?, or what are some of your friends names? why do you like them to be your friends? ect...hope that was helpful
ps. popcicles are a sure ice breaker...you can even find them made of 100% juice, if the girl is sensitive to suger, you will pat yourself on the back for giving healthier choices...if you dont you may be pulling your hair out by the time she goes home:)

I have a seven year old daughter - she loves making jewelry (you can buy one of those kits with beads and elastic bands - doesn't have to be expensive/fancy) She also loves doing makeover stuff - paintin nails do eachother's hair, etc.
