I doubt it, but who knows with that wacko Kim Jong in charge of that communist country. Hey, maybe he's waiting for the 4th of July to launch it so we can intercept it and give folks on the west coast a glimpse of some real fireworks!

Afghanistan was the original focus for the Bush's "warmonger administration" to get the troops over to the region and in the near of Iraq. Iraq was the final goal due to the oil. N Korea has no oil but has the actual threat of nuclear armament which Bush has to confront as that was part of his speech over the past years. SO in order not to loose face has to show some sort of strength against Korea. He cannot go in there as he then knows that he has to deal with China as well who will back N Korea in this issue. N. Korea will not attack the US but will have the pleasure of being on the map as a nuclear deterrent especially with US troops in S. Korea.

As long as you don't live on the West Coast, don't sweat it. The journalist is hyping it up... Supposing that NK would be that stupid: 1. The US has missile defense systems. 2. NK would lose....fast. Their adorable little stockpile vs the US. I would almost feel bad for Kimmie. 3. No one likes NK. China was entertained that a little twerp of a country defied US hegemony in the East for so long, but even China is getting sick of North Korea tossing missiles around. When Kim Jung Il ticks of nuclear powers China, Russia, the US, and Japan (de facto...), then starts a nuclear war....well...North Korea would be a wonderful cochroach farm in about ten years. 4. The true concern with NK has always been as follows: that they sell nuclear weapony to terrorist cells lead by people less stable than Kim Jung. No one wants to see al-Quaida with a nuclear weapon. Peace

If North Korea can get this missle off the ground I will be impressed. If they can get a second one to the launch pad I would be even more impressed. And I hate to see people critizing bush for this problem, It was Clinton's inaction in dealing with North Korea that gave them the time and will to launch. And, would the liberals be as enthusiatic about a war with North korea as they are with this war in Iraq? Hey, lets just start wars with everyone that has things that we don't approve of. You push the button and I'll cheer for you. Really, I'm behind you a hundred percent.

Bush has no strategy.

North Korea would like to Nuke the hell out of us, yes of course, however if they do, we will nuke them 10 times harder with 1 of our nukes and it would ruin the entire country, and threaten their lives entirely.

NK leader uses Bush's comment of referrring to them as a Country on the " axis of evil " which sparked this whole thing. By saying that, Kim ( leader of NK ) Jon uses that as a reason for his people to believe that we are going to invade their Country or Bomb them...and also another thing he uses as a reason for his people to believe that is the War in Iraq, and our invasion of it as a reason to not trust us because we invaded the wrong country.

Iraq .... we should have not invaded, it makes other nations and Countries around the world feel defensive against us and not trust us much less like us anymore

If they could, they would. They have a nutcase for a leader who makes Joseph Stalin look sane and reasonable.

Fortunately, so far, they can't nuke us.

It's a matter of measuring capability, and then responding most strongly to the most likely threat. Under Hussein, Iraq was much more likely to threaten the US, either directly, or indirectly through third parties, such as al-Qaeda. As North Korea expands its capabilities, it will move up higher on the "threat ladder."
