I have a strong feeling that the younger people who are responding to this question, don't even get it!!!! Would someone over the age of 15 please explain this to them.

You can keep whistling Dixie while you fill your Dixie cups with moonshine ... all I have to say is one little name: Sherman!

Make sure to keep the Mason-Dixon line dusted off just in case though.

Cute joke. Okay, I'll explain it to the kiddies: The South was also known as Dixie, so Dixie Cups would relate directly to the South.

Anyway, I don't believe the South will rise again. The US economy doesn't rely upon Southern industry hardly at all anymore.

Well they are becoming quite the ecomonic leader, so in that sense they are rising quite well. I believe we will always be one Nation and no slave trading ever again.
