I put a new disk brake system in my 52 ford 1 P/u and FI am am not getting a hard brake peddel after bleeding the brakes. any sugestion as to what needs to be done. I put in a Lincoln Marc 5 disk brake rear end.

Was the master cylinder bench bled before installation? It can retain air which wheel bleeding might not remove from the system.

Also, for best results, brakes should be bled in a certain order. The wheel furthest from the master cylinder should be bled first, usually the rear passenger side. Then other rear, then passenger front, and lastly the front driver side. Have you bled in that order?

Really not enough information for a good answer. What other parts were replaced? Power brake booster? Master cyiinder? Front brakes? Porportioning valve? Etc.......

Not bled completely

maybe not the right proportion valve
