I stand on my building's roof and try to shoot web out of my wrists. I know it won't come but, I enjoy imagining it.

Am I the only one who does that?

(Yup, I am not dumb enough to actually jump off the building though)

The whole point of fantasizing being a superhero is so that there is an escape from a dull and mundane life. In the comic books or whatever else, the life of a superhero is always exciting and pack full of adventure. People want to experience some of that excitement, so when Halloween comes around every year children (of all ages) will dress up as their favorite superhero. So, that for at least one night they might experience what it feels like to be someone else. And while people may feel stupid for wanting to be a superhero, they must remember that they are not the only ones. There are whole conventions where grown people, some who may be respectable members of the community, who put on the blue tights and red cape every year. Personally, I believe that everyone secretly wants to be a superhero.

Well, I do fantasize from time to time what it would be like to have super powers, but I don't know if it is for heroic means. I would rather just see what it would be like to fly (save money on airline tickets, not to mention fuel), or to have xray vision, (I would sweep up on Deal or No Deal!) or telekinetic powers (cut me off on the freeway...whoops, all the wiring in your engine just got disattached). hehehehe very selfish I know, but I am trying to be open about it.

I think aboot it all the time!

But I would be a superhero of my OWN design. I would be bullet proof, be able to teleport, be able to turn invisible (better to see the nekkid cheerleaders in their locker room), and, of course, never need to eat or sleep (I COULD do either if I wanted). And, best of all, I would be able to take the shape of anyone I wanted to.

No, I don't, too much responsibilities. That's normal in Psychology it is explained.... You fantasy of being glorified.and praised. Those fantasies are actually useless but keep on believing that you can be successful in everything you do.

I do dreamed of having super powers though.
