Sounds like what you're looking for is a "Streaming Radio Station". Depending on what version of Windows Media Player you have, you should be able to listen to commercial free music, for free, without having to download a program, or anything else. Provided you have a good internet connection already. I'm not sure how well it proforms on dialup, but any "Broadband" type of connection should be fine.

All you should have to do is open Windows Media Player and look for the tab labled "Radio Tuner". You can select lots of different catagories if there's something specific you're looking for. I've found everything from traditional Irish Folk music that's broadcast from Irland, to industrial metal from Germany, to standup comedians from all over the world.

If you don't see that tab when you open Media Player, you might have a newer version. That's not a problem, the Radio Tuner is still there, here's a link that explains how to use the Streaming Radio Tuner that comes with Windows Media Player 10:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/knowledgecenter/mediaadvice/0088.mspx

If you don't have a Radio Tuner tab in Media Player, and the instruction for Media Player 10, at the link above, tell you to click on menu options that you don't have in your Media Player, you probably have an older version. So here's a link to the Media Player downloads page, where you can get a newer version:

Hope this is what you're talking about, otherwise I've been of no help, and wasted all this time typing. LOL

Pandora.com is the best because it allows you to create your own radio station that plays the music you like while also playing similar music that will introduce you to artists you hadn't heard about yet. Another good choice is to search for radio stations that have internet broadcasts and choose the ones you like.

Yahoo! has a radio called launchcast that is pretty good. You can choose the songs you like to listen to, free of charge. It does have comercials, but only like one for every 5-7 songs. I really like it. Click on "Radio" or "My Music" and sign up!

I think you may use it for your mobile. For this you may need 3gp software which converts the mp3 and audio files in to 3gp format which will be very less in size so that we can use it in your mobile. Note: your mobile should support this file types Examples Nokia 6600 supports this type of files.....
