You really shouldn't hate these three men, because they were sent here to save the world. Yes indeed. Think of them as superheroes: Bono with the power to stem the rising AIDS epidemic in Africa AND, more importantly, to contribute rock songs to the Batman soundtrack; Cal Ripken with the power to earn tens of millions of US dollars playing a game 6, maybe 7, months per year; Jared the Subway Guy with the ability to spread the Good News about processed pseudo-deli meats. All together, they will make the world a better place. So stop the hatin'

well, i have to agree that I don't think that you should hate them...hate is wasted energy...especially when you don't even know the people.
On the other hand, I can understand your dislike for the above people. Jared the Subway Guy and Bono are self righteous and preachy. BUT, Bono, besides being annoying and egotistical raises awareness about important social issues. Jared the Subway Guy, well you have to admire a guy who lost that much weight and marketing himself well enough to make money off of it. I don't like Cal Ripken because he played for the Orioles and I am a Yankees fan, other than that I have nothing against him.
Sorry I couldn't answer you question, these may just be some of the reasons why.

I don't know why. I was nice at first but after a while I got tired of being nice. Now I'm sort of a jerk. When any girl comes up to me I just act like a jerk and they are still not interested. It's like damned if you, damned if you don't.

Bono bugs me. Back in the early 80's I used to like him but he got really snotty. Give money to this. Yeah, Bono could buy half of Africa why should I give money.

Jared brags to much. its like " oh my god i was so gigantuas before subway and now im skinny" then he holds up his old pants and it almost makes u wanna puke. u just feel like reaching in the tv and stangle him well saying "good for u A hole good for u"

Um, they're rich guys pretending to be ordinary just like us? And not really succeeding? Or maybe they just work that "I'm better than you" vibe a little too much too...?
