Au pairs are young, some are attractive. They are out of their home, and many actually welcome attention, love and close relationships.
Be extra careful when hiring one: in my opinion, the best ones are those who have a specific reason to go as au-pairs: they need an extra language to perfect for some future projects. BEWARE and stay away from any girl stating their only motivation is their generic love of children and of people... That is not enough motivation, and often are girls needing lots of tlc to develop and feel secure.
It is a fact that some (rarely though) will develop a relationship of some kind with the dad in the house...
