I've already answered your other question... I did not realize you are the husband, not the wife. ;)
I think anyway it is up to you to make sure your wife doesn't ever have any reason to suspect - and you are the best judge to know if she has a tendency to feel jealous or not.
More often, the mom feel jealous of the relationship developed with the children!! as absurd as it may sounds, the au-pair usually has a very close relationships with the littler ones, and the mom may feel left-out, especially if she is working out of the home many hours a day. She may end up feeling not needed, thinking the au-pair is taking over... it is not true, but the mom will need reassuring on those points.

Well it may fly, if the au pair makes you horny all the time, and it's your wife that benefits from that. Just be sure it's the wife and not the au pair, that enjoys your passion.
Or you may be out of the house on your butt.

No matter how young and attractive another woman is, it is up to your partner to make you feel jealous or not jealous. Women are always envious of other women, but envy is a whole different arena than jealousy, as you are the one to be envied as you are the one providing the job for the other woman. Whom do you think is in the better position? You ofcourse.

Are you hiring her, because of her skills or because she is attractive? When you do it for the second reason, your wive might feel it and might get jealous

i would say probably, depending on how self confident your wife is. Talk to your wife about it. Does she have to be young and attractive? if you really need one, you could hire and older one so there is not going to be as much jealousy.

I think it's something you and your wife should discuss. If the girl is attractive and you're not at all trying to put the moves on her I think your wife would be fine with it.

It will only cause problems unless your marriage is very stable and she has complete trust in you and is very secure in herself as well.
