Who will win NL and AL RotY?

There are amazing rookie pitchers out there right now like Papelbon, Verlander, and Liriano. Jered Weaver looked ready to be a dominant pitcher until he was sent back down to the minors. Cole Hamels has shown great potential (.229 BAA, 25k's in 25.2 IP).

Many rookie hitters have been solid if not spectacular. Ryan Zimmerman has impressed me immensely. He makes the most amazing defensive plays at 3rd and brings the offense as well (walk-off homer against the Yanks last night). Prince Fielder is doing his thing as the Brew Crew's clean-up hitter. There been quite a few good middle infielders like Texas' Ian Kinsler, Seattle's Yuniesky Betancourt, and the kids from florida.

And than there's the Dodger's with an amazing ammount of rookies producing, much like last years Braves. Guys like Russell Martin, Andre Ethier, Willy Aybar, a red-hot Matt Kemp, not to mention Chad Billingsley, Jonathan Broxton and 36 year old rookie Takashi Saito.

As impressive as he may be, Ryan Howard was a rookie last year.

Dude, I like the details u have in there good choices. But It's tought. Verlander is throwing 99-100 and it's A SINKER!! THat's incredible. Lirano .. wow tht kid has amazing stuff. Papelbon, Red Sox nation loves this guy and it hard not to. I'm a yankee fan and this is guy is fun to watch. Cole Hamels is a phille which is near my hometown. This kid throws insane i just hope his arm stay healthy. Jered Weaver deffitlnely is lookin to be dominant and SHOULD BE IN THE MAJORS!! DUmb angels, Switch it between Jeff and Jered. Ryan Zimmerman aka The next brooks robinson. All i need to say. Prince Fielder has little things of some mlb's player swing and this kid can stroke the ball. U left out two of the best. HANLEY RAMERIEZ IS A BEAST.

BUT DUde.... JOEL ZUMYA THROW 99-102 U CANT HIT THT **** WITH ANYTHIN IT'S INSANE!!!

Dude... how are you not going to take Uggla from the Marlins? His numbers are as good as anyone at his position, and he's more consistent than any of those players named. Plus he's been doing it all- season- long. Zimmerman and Fielder are having good seasons but neither are as good as Uggla day in and day out. Although if Josh Johnson from the Marlins stays hot, a 15 win season with a sub 3 era might get it done. In the AL Jered Weaver was demoted. Regardless Papelbon, barring injury or a horrible second half has it all but locked up.

Dan Uggla, 2B Marlins. On a team, where 6 out of 9 starters on average, are rookies, he is having a spectacular year. For pitching, my vote goes to Papelbon, becuase he has been outstanding this year, blowing one save and giving up 1 ER to date.

Certainly Papelbon from the Red Sox or Youkilis from the Red Sox too if he can be considered a rookie. Otherwise, it's Papelbon in a landslide.

Go SOX!!
