you mean hotwire.com? the best hotel bet is priceline.com, inside US. outside of US, depends on where you are going..

Some seniors are quite well off, but others are on "fixed incomes." E.g., when I retired from the military, my pension was fixed at 2% per year of my best 5 years. I retired at 43, and it will not be indexed until my age and years of service reach 85. So, the actual amount I receive stays the same every year, even though inflation is making things cost more each year. So far, I have lost about 18% of the actual buying power. By the time I am 65, the amount I can by with the pension will be a fraction of what I could buy when I first received it. Many seniors are in this boat - fixed incomes that in real terms lose ground every year. Happily, I'm still young enough to work, but many seniors do not have that option.
