how many of you would take the chance? I know I know you'd have to give up your soul and all but look at all the advantages. Would anybody here go for it?

It depends on which vampire lore you want to embrace...
Hollywood & writers for the last century have made vampire seem glamouress, with a great deal of weakness and personal sacrifice. But, the lore of old paints a completely different picture. Personally, I like the lore of the old, vampires seem far more mystical then the Hollywood version. In the old lore vampires were NOT destroy by sunlight, just weakened. And, of course they were very territorial, usually staying close to where they are most familiar (maybe that's a drawback of the old lore, unless you REALLY like where you grew up, lol)

Depends which kind of vampire. Poppy Z. Brite? Ricean? Traditional? NeoVamp? Each has its own advantages and disadvantages. And, actually, vampires as a majority do have souls.

yea id take the chance to ba a vimpire and live for ever. a vimpire like the ones in the Anne Rice novels only killed by the sun if ur a new vampire and just hurt if u've been a vimpire forever.

I really gave this one quite a bit of thought after reading Anne Rice's books. I find the concept fascinating. Being a rather adventerous person I'd probably say yes. I'm not much of a morning person anyway!

Depends on which kind, since there are so many. But the biggest choice is old folk lore beliefs or Hollywood theatrical. And besides, I'm happy with the type I am now.

well, really it would depend on the version of vampire you are talking about, theres alot of different versions of weaknesses, strengths, wethere there pure evil or not. Id take my chances with Darren Shan's version of the nightlife.

I know a couple who ACTUALLY are. Don't go for it; Ziath... he hates it. The end result is cool, yes, but the process is completely horrible... not to mention, you kinda get depressed when you Turn.
