I don't want anything that is ripped off or "hot." I just know that there are some legitimate places out there with free downloads.

Ya I did think of it,.... (I don't download Music illegaly though I get the CD's) and the bands and singers still have concertes, tours ppl still buy Cds and there are billions of people doing it legally we willl never run out of bands or singers if anything theres too many, they'll always be around. sry bout that but you can't really get it for free unless you use limewire. You can try download.com but they only have like 1 free song for each band and they don't have a lot of the old ones (no matter how popular) so basicaly try download.com then you can either buy it at itunes or go to limewire.com

I checked download.com n couldn't find anything but u can double check.

Ya, I think that there is no website that lets you download it for free and keeps it legal at the same time..... You can buy it from iTunes, Aol music or rhapsody.

downloading free music is illegal, and also your ripping off the people who made it. think about if everybody is downloading free music, then bands will go out out of bussness and we'll have no more music cause bands know they'll get ripped off! ever think of that ppl!
