Yes, the reason why is because there is a bit of tissue called the hymen and the first time a girl has sex it breaks. You will be sore for a while, but it will be fine after a while.
Also, the hymen is very fragile, so it might already be broken from normal activities. Either way, it will be diffrent the first time.

It didn't hurt me. I really liked my first time, but then I waited until I was 21 so that might of had something to do with it. I also didn't bleed. Everyone is different.

um depends....alot of girls i talked to said it did but for me, it felt really good! i heard i was gonna bleed and it would hurt like hell but it didnt, but i heard for most it does.
