If I have a prof who sexually harrasses me (to say the least) and informs me my grade may suffer if I don't do certain things, how do I go about reporting it? I mean, do I contact the Dean or what?

As a professor myself, I am sorry to hear this is happening.

Your school should have a legal department and I recommend you report it to them.

But before you do, I would suggest you get some kind of proof. If you don't, it will be your word against his.

If you go in without proof, he will get a slap on the wrist and will make your life painful. If you have proof, things may be a bit rough for you, but he shouldn't be able to touch you - physically or metaphorically.

Either way, it is a tough situation. Good luck.

Edit:

I don't recommend you go to the dean, by the way, unless you have no other choice. They are much less likley to take you seriously or to take the appropriate action.

The Dean, the college President, the police, and his wife. In that order. That "A" will appear faster than you can blink!

Yep, BUT I would do one better than that. I'd invest in a small pocket type tape recorder. And the next time I am alone with him I would make sure to tape EVERYTHING. I would hang that bast urd so quick it wouldn't be funny.
