This movie has been virtually forgotten here in England. It was mever released here on video and there is no DVD. Even the soundtrack album is almost impossible to find. If anybody has the "Lady Sings The Blues" soundtrack on CD and they don't want it anymore, there is a good home for it here in London

Yes, I remember the movie. It was actually made in 1972. I wasn't born then, but I watched it when I was young. It's the bio-pic of the jazz singer Billie Holiday played by Diana Ross. You could probably find this on eBay or other online sites. Maybe it's at your local movie rental place. There are probably obscure places where you can find this film, like smaller movie stores. Diana Ross actually got nominated for an Oscar for her role.

Lady Sings The Blues is out on DVD in the US. It features commentary from Berry Gordy, deleted scenes and a making-of documentary with Berry, Billy Dee and Miss Ross herself.

i replaced right into a baby at the same time as it first got here out too, and idea it replaced right into a competent action picture. it replaced into on the disney channel the different day and that i watched it with my 3 12 months previous son...he loved it. it actually made him giggle out loud. any action picture which could make a three 12 months previous just about roll on the floor guffawing is a good action picture
