There is a good program to make websites for beginners. This program is called CoffeeCup HTML Editor. This is the most downloaded HTML Editor on the Web since 1996 is now even easier to use with almost 10 years of refined features. This helps new people who are learning HTML become Webmasters faster. More advanced users will find the Code Editor is exactly what they need the most without extra buttons they won't ever use. It's a mean, clean, coding machine. You can download this program at:

There are many different ways that you can "make" website. You can either do all of the html coding by hand, and write the whole code for the website by yourself. Or, you can use website editing software such as FirstPage2000. Also, there are many sites such as myspace which allow you to make your own personalized website as well.

you start with an html editor. Design your website with the html editor (such as frontpage, or any wysiwyg)
then you will need web hosting ( http://logowebsite.com for a good chart of how to get your website onto the net for public viewing)
