Not that I can speak for all Americans, but in general we really like the British. For one, your accents are really charming and you come off really smart even when doing something mundane like ordering a pizza. Somehow, the accent seems to command respect in a way.
I think also we feel you are our best friends as we fought together during World War II and during the current Iraq War, and the support from the British during other crises is always appreciated.
Finally, rock stars like the Beatles and Rolling Stones have a place in everyone's heart.

Brits are perfectly accepted over here; generally better than others because you speak the language (almost) perfectly! The eastern states are not as friendly as the western states in general. Although New York and California are entities unto themselves, other states are very welcoming.
Enjoy your visit!

I imagine you will be greeted with more curiosity than any of your fears. The USA is in general a friendly place. Don't get me wrong, we do have some bad areas and bad people, just like every other country. I think you will find your visit very pleasant and enjoyable. I hope you enjoy yourself while here.

Yes. totally! Overall of course. There's always a couple people out there that will be mean no matter where anyone goes. But for the most part, you are totally welcome here! Enjoy!

As for other nationalities, it kind of depends on which ones. Most are relatively accepted by the majority of the population. But there's always some pricks out there that will be rude and inconsiderate and just hate people in general. The majority sincerely apologizes on their behalf.

I don't know that it differs from other nationalities visiting the US, but we like you okay. Most people will think you accent is cool and want to listen to you talk.

I can't speak for any other areas but around my area in Cali wherever you go people would be fascinated with you since you are from another country. Especially England. I know I always am curious about people from other countries.

Your questions shows how racist the Brits, are against Americans. But Americans, could care less about where you are from, So kick of your heels and prepare to have a great time. So enjoy.
