What??? There's no Earth weight capacity. Plus, even if their was, we wouldn't know because it's almost impossible to find out.

You need not worry, the earth has a way to go. At ~6x10^24 kg, we have a lot of capacity left. You need to get up to about 2x10^28 kg before earth ceases to be a planet. That is roughly 90 times the mass of Jupiter, and the resulting object is call a brown dwarf star. Now, at the surface of the earth, with even a doubling of the mass, we would be having problems, but the planet itself is safe. As to your specific question, weight is mass in a specific gravitational environment, so what you are asking does not make sense, as the earth creates its own gravity.

First of all, it has no "weight capacity." In fact, you're wording it as though the Earth would implode if too much weight was put on it. Instead of imploding, it would not do anything. All of the extra weight would simply float in space, assumind that you meant that the Earth's gravity wasn't strong enough to hold any more.

This question does not make sense.

If you're looking at how much mass you could add to a plant before something happened, you must measure it in terms of mass.

Weight changes depending on gravity. Mass does not.
