For these last two games the A.C. Milan players have been Italy's best. The Azzurri were pretty good against Ghana, except for Cannavaro and Nesta who were absolutely brilliant. Luca Toni was working hard and deserves a goal. We sucked agaisnt the Americans and we really have to play good agaisnt the Czechs, and Lippi has to use Oddo instead of Zaccardo. He also has to use Pippo, and De Rossi has to go home. For some weird reason the AS Roma players always screw us up, first Totti and now De Rossi.
Oh, and Bruce Arena needs to shut up and stop blaming other people for his players' mistakes. He has to realize that theItalians had 10 men and that the Americans had 11, until his players screwed up and got two red cards. The two red cards were deserved, Mastroeni did a two-footed tackle which according to FIFA deserves a red card. Pope tackled from behind, and he had commited other fouls previoulsy. The ref robbed the Italians of a goal that was completely valid because Toni was not offside. He also called a lot of offsides that weren't supposed to be offsides, and he didn't call a Pk on Iaquinta.

OK, me as an iranian...
Before ballout for the groups we hoped for advancing this time in world cup to the rounf of 16t.
after ballout and when we see we are in a same group with Mexico, Portugal and Angola we see that we are in hard group. but as we are a very powerful and honorable team in asia all of the poople hope that with a drawn on victory against mexice and with a victory against angola we can adavance to the next round.
Our first game:
11th June 2006 - Nuremberg, iran played so well at the first half against mexico, they scored one goal and every body was hopefull. at the 2nd half time we recived 2 goals and finally we loose them 3-1.
entire team play pretty well and we recived 2 goals on individual mistakes of the goal keeper and one of our defenders.
2nd Match:
17th June 2006 - Frankfurt, No body think that iran would be succefull in this match, as we know, we loose to portugal 2-0 with a penalty kick and other individual mistakes, how ever we played pretty well again.
In compare with other 2 asian teams (except japan) i mean korea and ksa we was in a very hard group. but i belive in first match we could at least have a drawn. i believe if we were in a group like the group H we could advance to the 2nd round.
This worldcup for our team is finished, but the football never finish and we are still hopefull for 2010 and also for championship in ASIAN CUP 2007 (this time with australia).
every body know that our team has some weak points, we don't use a 1st class coach, if we repair our weak points and use a better coach and also make more friendly games before worldcup, and also improve our self-confident and inject a new bood to team we could be more succefull in 2010.
Iran is really a good team and we get our heads high. just compare us with ksa...

I'm not a patriotic American, unfortunately, so I root for GERMANY and SPAIN. Both are shaping up pretty well, with some shaky moments, but I have faith! I had no idea Germany was so great when I picked them though, considering this is the first year I've even cared about soccer at all.

My team isi portugal and i think they are playing very well so far and i think if we play like we have been so far we will be a hard team to beat as long as we dont lose any of are key players EG: Figo C.Ronaldo, Deco, Pauletta.

I love my team. I think they can (and should) win, I think they're the most talented men out there, and I love to watch them play, especially when they get into their groove and destroy the opposition!
(My team is Argentina.)

i have two teams actually...us and mexico. mexico is awesome. the us/italy game on saturday was one of the most ridiculous events i have seen in a long while. bad ref, bad calls and sloppiness by both teams.

I don't really have a team. Maybe ABB, anybody but Brazil? I'm in USA, but I don't really overly root for them. They looked good against Italy.
