Morals isn't just about compassion for people or guilt for wrongdoing. It's a view of the world you develop as you grow, and using your mind to decide how you will act in new situations. Religion generally supplies the scenarios and the "rules-of-thumb" for most people. I find deriving morality from reflecting on my own experiences and applying reason and asking myself how I feel about it. To me, this way is more honest and keeps you connected to reality, where religions seem to keep your head in the clouds. Don't get me wrong..helping the less fortunate, being industrious are great morals taught by religion, but your personal needs, your sexuality, your worldly interests are just as important. Most of all, no one should answer important questions for you (except on this website heheh). Come up with your own answers!

It can be religion for some, or just doing what you feel is the right thing to do. You develop morals as you mature and realize that other people can feal pain.
