im 24 and I just got divorced, let me tell you ... it is NOT FASIONABLE at any minute, it's a huge mistake. there is no such thing as love, its an involuntary release of saratonin and other chemicals into your brain.... you want that ? go to a rave and drop some extacy, whatever you wake up next to, you can always just get up and leave. but not when your married. whole new ball game.

I think a lot of people are "gun-shy" so to speak. In this day and age, people marry & divorce at the drop of a hat (and repeatedly), so marriage has lost being as sacred as it once was.
Peronally, I think that if you marry the right person for the right reasons, it's the greatest kind of commitment out there.

The deep commitment of love, loyalty and fidelity that comes from a happy, healthy marriage is always fashionable.

Marriage is a dying institution. People are waiting a lot longer to get married and/or start families. And people who want children are realizing that they can do it by themselves.
I am married and I love it but, it is not for everyone.

It is up to each individual couple, you are the only ones who know if it is right for you. Fashion should have nothing to do with your decision.

it is not fashionable for people who want all the benefits of living together but not the resonsibilities of marriage.

I don't believe it is as popular as it used to be because people live together now and find it just as satisfying.

anyone who makes major life decisions based on what's "fashionable" is a pinhead, anyhow.
