He asked me to send him some,i just wanted to know if i can or not.

I send stamps to two different California prisons. It depends on the prison but if he asked you to send them, then he's probably at a place where it is allowed.
Visit the forum for your state at http://www.prisontalk.com to get more definite answers or just call the mailroom at his prison and ask them what you can and can't send in the mail.

I think it depends on the prison as their rules may vary. You may want to find out though before you put stamps in your letter.

You can send money to an inmate and they can purchase postage in prison.

All you have to do is put the stamps in an envelope and mail them to him...no big deal

IN MOST PERSON ...NO...IT IS CONTRABAND... CALL BEFORE YOU SE END ANY THING....SOME TIMES INMATES USE THINGS FOR TRAFFIC AND TRADING ... IT IS A GAME THEY DUE TO PASS CONTRABAND AROUND TO GET WHAT THEY WONT....
