The actress, Sherry Stringfield, asked to be released from her contract...just like she had done several seasons earlier. The powers that be at NBC weren't too happy with her & unlike her previous dramatic exit they just had another character inquire as to where Dr. Lewis was & Dr. Weaver informed them that she'd gone to work in Iowa City.

she had to get away from marc ....she came back though...i never like her ..she seemed too cold ...dhe looked like she had a bad smell on her all the time......
